Community Center
The Southgate Community Center is a multi-function community center which is located at 301 W. Walnut St. The community center is surrounded by trees and a park. There is a baseball field, volleyball court, exercise stations, playground and walking trail around a fishing lake.
The large hall is ideal for weddings and dances up to 300 people. The small hall is available for rental for birthday/anniversary parties, bridal/baby showers, family gatherings, or business meetings up to 75 people.
The picnic shelter which is also available for rental on Sundays only. It is located in the park with access to the ballfield, volleyball court, playground, and walking trails around the lake. Fishing is permitted with a valid KY fishing license.

The Park and Tree Board, along with City Staff work diligently to keep the Community Center beautiful, by planting trees and flowers for your family outings and celebrations. It is their goal to have the building and surrounding grounds reflect the pride of the people of Southgate.
Support the park and community center. Become a part of this facility by purchasing a paver for a lasting impression! To order a paver, complete the Paver Form. Please submit the paver form request to the Clerk’s office at 122 Electric Ave. Southgate. 859-441-0075.
