Welcome to the City of Southgate, a nice place to visit and a great place to live!   Southgate is a vibrant and historical community of approximately 3,800 residents located along US 27 and near I-471, only a few miles south of downtown Cincinnati.  Southgate has a rich history dating back to 1907.  Please explore the website to learn about our Park & Tree programs and awards, fishing lake, community center and park, schools, churches and many other services and activities.

City Council meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month at the City Building, 122 Electric Ave  and begin at 6:30 p.m). If you are mobility impaired and wish to attend a council meeting, please notify the City Clerk @ 441-0075 or clerk@southgateky.org

Bring the kids & blankets and have a great time!

Evergreen Cemetery 170th anniversary

The 170th Anniversary of Evergreen Cemetery will be marked by an event on Saturday September 16 from 12:30 to 4:30 pm.  There will be a Color Guard, Special Guest Speaker, Special Period Music and re-dedication of the Chapel.  It is free and open to the public.
